One of the most expected resort and casino hub in New York – del Lago Resort & Casino – is scheduled to officially open on February 1st, 2017 in the Finger Lakes area town of Tyre, NY. The entertainment venue is expected to bring some of the best slots in the business, as well as a great variety of thrilling table casino games and of course, a four-star resort-style hotel.
The $440-million investment in the del Lago-branded resort and casino is expected to bring the visitors an unforgettable experience thanks to the vast range of casino games and slots machines available. The architects planned the property as a first class facility, which is situated on a total of 94,000 square feet of gaming space.
Although there were no details about the resort and casino for quite some time in 2016, the entertainment venue has now been officially announced as home to 75 gaming tables and 2,000 slot machines. Still, there are no details about a poker room, so this is to be further revealed at the opening date of the hub.
The casino floor of the resort is to work 24 hours a day. Situated on a 94,000-square-foot area, the casino will offer 75 table games that will offer the players a variety of traditional table casino games, including blackjack, roulette, baccarat, etc. As mentioned above, 2,000 slots machines will also be available.
What is considered as particularly exciting is the fact that the games provided at the del Lago Resort & Casino will be suitable for both low-stake players and high rollers. The management team of the casino revealed that the minimum bet that is to be allowed amounts to $0.01.
Apart from the casino and gaming part of the resort-styled venue, del Lago Resort & Casino will include a premium hotel offering more than 200 rooms for its visitors. This area of the resort will also provide its customers with other amenities, including a spa, a number of restaurants and lounge areas.
At the beginning of January 2017, the soon-to-be open venue was reported to have more employee positions announced that it actually needed. The casino hub was then looking to hire as many as 350 people, with the total number of employees that should have been employed amounted to 1,500. Most of them have already been hired, and there are 300 individuals left to be employed in the summer, before the hotel of the property opens. This would bring the total number of people employed at the new del Lago Resort & Casino brought to 1,800.
